FEBRUARY UK TOUR CANCELLED

we are extremely sorry but we have to cancel our february uk tour due to technical and logistical problems. the show in munich on feb 9th will not be affected though.

the munich show will be our last one this year. we are going to take a couple of months break from touring in order to work on new material. we toured with pretty much the same live set for more than 2 years now and were so busy with all the organisational stuff that comes along with booking tours that we could hardly spend any time on the work that has been the actual reason for us to making music: writing new songs.

although we already miss being on the road now we’re looking forward to this creative time and will be back with a whole lotta touring next year.

please buy our debut single which is going to come out on 15th february. we are very proud of it and think it sums up the very exciting last couple of months pretty well.

we had a really great 2007 and we’d like to say a big thank you to all of you….either for the nice words before and/or after the shows, the messages we got, all the people that have sent us photos or videos and to all who supported us in one or the other way!! we travelled more than 40000 kilometers this year and spent all the time we had left besides our jobs with music. it was a hard but a wonderful year we’ll never ever forget in our lives and nobody can ever take us all these memories we got.
we hope to continue with a great next year.

in a couple of days you can preorder our very first single which will be ‘i want you’ and which is going to come out on berlin label rank records beginning of february. the cover photo was taken by our good friend migue from london and we think its absolutely brilliant! thanks a lot to migue again for this! :) and we’d also like to say a big thank you to rank records for releasing our debut single! :)

so here we go:

first of all THANKS A LOT to all the fantastic email responses we got! we are very very happy that so many people liked us that much! :)) and another big THANK YOU to all of you who bought our cd… we’re SOLD OUT SOLD OUT SOLD OUT!! :) this was a limited hand made single cd and it will never ever be released in that very special way again. so you all bought a really unique thing. :) there were a couple of questions we got during the shows with travis and a few came up quite often…
1. when will you be releasing an album?
2. do you have a record deal?
3. how did you get the support shows?
4. why have we never heard of you before?
5. are you brother and sister?
6. are you really german?
and some more i forgot…but if you have a question please ask… we’ll be answering it if its a good one! :)

so what about the answers… well ok, here they are:

we don’t know yet but we try to release one as soon as possible!

2. do you have a record deal?

3. how did you get the support shows?
we blackmailed TRAVIS!

4. why have we never heard of you before?
we don’t know… we appear on every single kellogs package and every single second there is a tv ad in every country of the world about the taste… so maybe you never ever had kellogs cornflakes or you just have to stop going for a pee while the ads are running.

5. are you brother and sister?
we wish we were so we wouldn’t have needed to get married.

6. are you really german?
no, we are british but we thought its much cooler pretending to be german.

it was a really fabulous show yesterday… we rarely had a gig with such a warm and friendly atmosphere, the audience was amazing, like being in a room with a lot of good friends. and travis was so excellent!! we were watching the show from the stage, sitting near the guitar tech next to andy. what an experience!!
